We’ve known for a long time that Vitamin C helps repair damaged skin. The problem has been to figure out how to transmit it to the deeper layers of skin where it’s needed.The SkinCeuticals and Cellex-C lines of topical vitamin C are both based on a patented formula developed and tested at Duke University, shown to increase collagen production and help reduce wrinkles. Additional research indicates their use can minimize further damage from UV radiation. At the moment, these are the only two Vitamin C formulations on the market backed by clinical studies.
